School in Mauritius

We want to bring our help to a small school in Mauritius.
Thanks to Celia, a member of ours, who personally visited the school and Jessica her local guide, we became aware of this small school reality.

The structure requires roof restoration work, the electrical and plumbing system as well as the purchase of educational material such as desks, etc.
At the moment due to the pandemic, I am in arrears with the salaries of two teachers and many families cannot afford to pay the bus to send the children to school.
We asked the headmistress what it takes to “transform” this small school, Veena sent us a detailed list of what they need.

With our contribution we want that even for these children “learning” is a right and doing it in an adequate school structure can become a little big reality for them!
